There should be a unity convention under the leadership of Shesh Ghale – Dr. Paudel
Kathmandu.
Dr. Keshav Paudelle, former president of Non-Residential Nepali Association (NRNA) America and former president of the association and former president of the association, Shesh Ghale, has called for unity under the leadership of Dr. Keshav Paudelle.
‘We are calling for a general conference to unite the rest of the community in leadership. And as if the second decision gave the Supreme Court the power to file a committee, there has been a lot of confusion. It is our demand that there should be a single organization and forum to solve all the confusion.
During the Nepal Basaika, he opened a meeting with various party leaders and told that everyone’s suggestion was that NRNA should move forward as one. ‘There is no point in arguing and fighting. The leaders do not believe that Nepal should progress according to the political equation. There should be a separate organization called NRNA’, he said.
Last March 21, the Supreme Court, while deciding the dispute regarding the legality of the 10th General Conference, ordered the rest of the group to hold a General Conference under the leadership. At the same time, the NRNA Committee elected at the 10th and 11th General Conferences was declared illegal by the court. On the other hand, on another issue, the joint session of the joint session of judges Tilaprasad Shrestha and Tekprasad Dhungana had given the job of CEO of NRNA in a decision taken on 22nd June.
After the 11th convention, Dr. Badri Kseele claimed to have been elected while the presidential candidates Mahesh Shrestha and RK Sharmale were running parallel committees. After the decision on 22nd June, a group has come out claiming its position as official.
Despite being victorious in the 11th General Conference, Dr. Keshav Paudel rejected the post claiming that the election was rigged. He has told the committee to name the worst leadership till now. He responded that it was necessary to run NRNL on the basis of consensus, cooperation, unity and coexistence.
We have not yet brought any committee (whose leadership) is there. The court has made two different decisions. That decision has had an impact on the NRNA campaign,’ he said, ‘some day I will have to send the true decision to the court again. Otherwise, our belief should be that we should create a working environment based on everyone’s consensus and cooperation.
