Dalit girl gang raped in Dhading, 2 arrested
Sabina Itani Kathmandu-Three men allegedly raped a Dalit girl in the Dhading district of Chainpur village on Thursday. Two accused were arrested, while one is absconding.
Two men were arrested for allegedly raping a Dalit girl in the village. The accused forubly picked up the girl while she was working in the paddy field, dragged her into the bushes and gang raped her.
The victim’s sister who was also working with her, informed villagers about the incident. Locals immediately caught hold of the two accused and handed them over to police, while the third accused managed to escape.
Superintended of police, outer Dhading Ashoj Thapa said,” Two of the accused have been arrested; while the search is on to nab the third accused. A medical check up is being conducted for victim.”
